Purpose of this blog
As someone who has enjoyed the wealth of freely downloadable material available on the net for strings, I thought that it was time to give something back! This blog has been set up with the purpose of sharing both what I found on the net and some arrangements of my own for strings, all free to download. You will notice that there is an emphasis on music for string quartets and trios, as I hope that this blog will be of use to "gigging" ensembles. Most of the music is sight-readable for professional musicians. Anyway...enjoy the music making!
